Last month I had the pleasure to be able to put out my first official EP featuring two original joints under the name Nitewax. The 1st (and title track) is a vocal club tune featuring the very talented and Tunde Olaniran. You may remember his name / voice from a couple parties DJ Apt One and I have done over the past year.


The second is a partial tribute / reinterpretation of Lil Louis's classic joint, Club Lonely.

Tonight I'll be joining Philly homies Willyum, Jesse Merlin and DJ Apt One on Will's SoulGow Radio at Deephouselounge.com. Will has been holding down the Thursday night spot for a couple years and is one of the stations founding DJs, representing Philly to the world over the interwaves.

In anticipation for Friday's (Jan 18th) Electric City: 360º of NITEWAX, I'll post some songs I'm diggin' on right now (old and new).

I really don't geek out over things so damn hard as I did this video and more importantly the song. I recall drunkenly coming across this video on my phone riding home from somewhere... or in my bed... one or the other. And saying "damn, I hate this girl... but I know I'm actually super really incredibly in love with her."
